More Than Blue Documentary

More Than Blue was created and produced by Dr. Lee Cohen (Center for Women's Mental Health Director) in partnership with ARK Media. It a powerful documentary that sheds light on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, sharing the real stories of families navigating these challenges. Through expert insights and personal experiences, the film aims to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and highlight the importance of comprehensive mental health care during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

"This film is a masterpiece! It features first-hand stories from several women who have experienced a wide range of maternal mental health conditions, along with expert advice and information from noted reproductive psychiatrists. This should be 'must-see TV' for anyone who interacts with pregnant and postpartum people." - Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance, D.C.

"More Than Blue does not choose to sensationalize the most traumatic and most misunderstood aspects of motherhood. It instead chooses to celebrate and honor families, community, survivorship - and the resilience to overcome mental health challenges. It beautifully synthesizes science and evidence." - Postpartum Psychosis Survivor, MA
