Sharon Muza, BS, CD/BDT(DONA), LCCE, FACCE, CLE, is a certified birth doula and Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, a Certified Lactation Educator, a DONA Approved birth doula trainer and the co-Director of Childbirth Education Project, a Lamaze Accredited childbirth educator training program. Sharon trains doulas and childbirth educators, L&D nurses, and midwives in Washington state and globally through in-person and virtual workshops. She also co-owns Creative & Confident – a business dedicated to leveling up virtual classes. Sharon enjoys facilitating discussions around best practice, current research, and its practical application to maternal infant health and community standards.

Sharon is recognized for delivering engaging, fun content, both in person and virtually, that involves everyone, celebrates and welcomes all, and builds community every time she teaches. She shares evidence-based information and makes the material memorable for learners. Sharon is a co-author of a chapter of the newest edition of The Labor Progress Handbook and reviewer of portions of the 6th edition of Pregnancy, Childbirth and the Newborn.
