Abby Jorgensen, M.A.(Sociology), is a sociologist doula or a doula sociologist, depending on the day you catch her. As a birth and bereavement doula and as a birth and bereavement educator, Abby walks alongside families in major transitions. As a sociology PhD candidate at the University of Notre Dame, Abby studies the ways those family transitions change individuals and their relationships.
