Jessica English is one of the world's first and longest running doula agency owners — 16 years and still going strong. Her business, Birth Kalamazoo, offers birth and postpartum doula services and childbirth education to families throughout Southwest Michigan. She prides herself on taking great care of her doulas so they can in return take great care of families. For more than a decade, she's also coached new and long-standing agency owners around the word, supporting heart-centered businesses in Ireland, Australia, Canada, and throughout the United States. Along with her agency work and coaching, Jessica also trains doulas for DONA International, and she is a program director and trainer for Lamaze International. She has been hired by hospitals throughout the U.S. to train their nurses in hands-on labor support skills. When she's not training professionals or running her agency, Jessica still attends births and cares for families as a birth and postpartum doula, and you'll find her teaching her childbirth class every Tuesday night.
