Sharon is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and Certified Birth Doula (DONA) and as well as a DONA Approved Birth Doula Trainer and Lamaze Certified CBE Trainer. They are also the co-owner of Creative & Confident, a virtual training organization. Sharon has been fortunate to support families and birth professionals throughout world-wide for almost two decades. They present at international perinatal conferences to remain up to date on current best practice and evidence-based research that supports their doula and childbirth education clients.They guest lecture for midwifery and nurse trainings at local universities. Sharon manages and writes Lamaze International's Connecting the Dots blog for perinatal professionals. They have been a guest on numerous perinatal podcasts. Sharon has served on the board of local perinatal organizations in many capacities. They mentor new doulas and childbirth educators who work around the world.  Sharon have been a birth professional since 2004 and lives in Seattle, WA, USA.
